Discretion
We uphold client confidentiality at all times, both throughout and after the completion of the assignment. We carefully protect data, whilst information is passed and stored through secure communications.

National statutes
We conduct our business in strict accordance with the national statutes of the countries in which we operate.

Cross-border
Standards vary widely between all the jurisdictions in which
BTG Intelligence operates, and local practices can often conflict with one another. We seek to observe best practice in all jurisdictions – and where necessary, local legal advice is obtained to support our activities.

Anti-money laundering
We are acutely aware of the presence of money-laundering activities within many of the operations with which we’re involved. We maintain client privilege and discretion, providing this does not conflict with statutory compliance obligations relating to the movement and processing of money.

Data protection
We ensure that data is handled in accordance with local laws, and we are registered accordingly to handle personal data with the Information Commissioner (registration number Z76243300).

Debts and credit referencing
We are licensed under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 for the purposes of collecting debtor monies, for credit referencing and related activities (Licence number 422675).
